What is Unifrog?
Unifrog is the universal destinations platform, a one-stop shop for whole-school careers guidance.
Our mission is to level the playing field when it comes to young people finding the best opportunities after school or college. Our impartial, user-friendly platform allows students to explore pathways, evidence key activities and competencies, and draft the strongest possible applications for university courses, apprenticeships, and jobs.
At the same time, we empower teachers and advisors in our community of 3,700 schools and colleges to manage the progression process more effectively and deliver outstanding careers and PSHE guidance.
With at-a-glance progress reports, CEIAG interactions recording, destinations tracking, plug-and-play teaching resources, and complete oversight of applications and work experience placements, we turn every stage of the progression journey into a seamless experience. We have used Unifrog for the last 4 years to support our careers curriculum and help us achieve the Gatsby benchmarks, and recently the Quality in Career Standard Award. Our students find the resources engaging and easy to access and these help support them in making informed choices about their next steps(Post 16 options), whilst also enabling them to explore careers and pathways they may be interested in following in the future.

The team at Unifrog are always receptive to suggestions from users and are always looking for ways to help users. The helpdesk team are quick to respond to queries. The platform is updated regularly so we can be sure that our students are receiving the most up to date information which is especially useful for students searching for local apprenticeship opportunities. Unifrog is easy for students, teachers and parents to use and we like that parents can use the platform too.

Unifrog is the best package that we have bought into. It does have some excellent 'off the shelf' elements to do with careers, PSHE and work placements, but the driving change for us is around the Activities, Interactions and Competencies tool. Essentially, together with the pupil, we use Unifrog to record what they do through school (trips, speaker visits, placements), what they do outside of school (clubs, jobs, charitable opportunities) and how they are developing their key employability skill set. When done properly, Unifrog engages pupils and gives them an edge over others. The support Unifrog offer is also outstanding; never to busy to help teach you how to get the most out of the platform for your school priorities. Could not do this job without it now!

This is so much more than just a fully comprehensive careers platform. The volume of resources available have helped to redevelop our entire PSHE programme, improve the impact of mentoring in tutor time, and ensure students have access to impartial careers information. Unifrog and especially their staff Natalie have been amazing in their support to help the school and sixth form fully utilise the platform. I have been able to organise a year plan for each year group with their support. Best thing is all the material and workshops are so easily accessible and the platform is so easy to navigate.

There are still things I would like it to do: matching for logging interactions is irritating because you have to select a year group, and we have mixed year groups doing activities; I would very much like there to be a work experience management tool as well.

Now that we are using it throughout the school it will become an essential part of our Careers curriculum.
