What is Start?
Start is a digital careers platform with the information, advice and tools your students need to grow in confidence and prepare their future.
At the heart of the platform is a student's StartProfile. Built throughout the academic journey, the profile helps students to evidence their achievements and career development, informing and supporting their successful transition to future study and employment.
Alongside their profile, students have access to the very best careers information and content to explore from trusted partners, all in one place. This includes LMI for All, ESFA, national apprenticeship service, Indeed, the Skills Builder Partnership and more.
For schools and colleges, we enable you to embed Start in to your learner journey. You'll structure how and when your students use Start using our high quality programme of activities for students across KS2-5, all mapped to the Gatsby benchmarks and CDI framework. Easy reporting, tools to record CEIAG interactions and gathering student feedback all ensure that Start has everything you need and a platform to underpin your careers programme.
