Requirements
Mangahigh is cloud-based and can be accessed through an Internet browser anywhere in the country on any device: desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile. Each student will be issued a unique username and password. We, therefore, recommend that each student has access to a device to be able to benefit from the personalised learning on Mangahigh. There is no software to download.
Training
Mangahigh is adaptive to all devices and needs no installation to get started. Teachers sign up for a 30 day free trial via the website and during this will receive training and support from the Mangahigh team to get familiar with the product. In-person or virtual training is provided for new schools including best practices and how to use Mangahigh in the classroom.

    We have to pay for a yearly subscription
  • Does not significantly reduce teacher workload
    It's an additional resource so it's added to their workload

    It's great for parents to sit and play with their children. They also gain an insight into their mathematical ability

We love it. The children love it. It is used from Year 1 to Year 8 in our school. Not a 10 because some of the games are less interesting and the games have been watered down by pressure from the PC 'brigade': Bidmas Blaster, Pyramid Panic, reducing the fun factor in each game.

  • Moderately improves teaching efficiency and productivity
    Prodigi homework reduces marking time. Prodigi homework helps flipped learning and informs lesson planning - meaning pupils can start next lesson at different levels and requiring less or more teacher input. Adaptive algorithm of prodigi and the differentiation inside games stretches the able and consolidates learning in the less able.
  • Significantly reduces teacher workload
    Aforementioned homework benefits from prodigy and in lessons, pupils can surprise you by playing games to a level you perhaps wouldn't predict. Pupil interest in some games means they engage in the activity voluntarily
  • Slightly saves school money
    Money would not be spent on text books as there are not many fit for purpose so it does not save us much from a financial perspective. More of an affirmation is to say that we a re willing to divert a proportion of the departmental budget to pay for it.
  • Slightly provides school data
    It is only used to inform future planning and to assess understanding in individual pupils and groups. Data is not entered into Year group spreadsheets.
  • Slightly improves school processes
  • Moderately improves parental engagement
    Parents do like the algorithm in prodigi and the hint/solve features. They can work with their child
