We had to ask for a lot of the information we needed to run the sessions. The independent learning sessions weren't quite long enough to cover the half hour the students had to complete them.

Reply from Dragons Teaching:Thanks Justine - we're glad that the students enjoyed the sessions. We'll definitely take that on board for older students in particular :)
Justine Nuttall found Dragons Teaching:

It's a very intuitive system and well-resourced and developmental, but the IT issues with Internet connectivity etc. did have some detrimental impact.

Reply from Dragons Teaching:Thanks for the review Mark - we're glad that the students enjoyed the programme. Tech issues are always frustrating but I hope that the team were helpful in getting these resolved.

Boys were very engaged, enjoyed the games especially and it was a focussed but fun end of year activity for them.

Reply from Dragons Teaching:That's fantastic John - really glad to hear that the boys enjoyed the week with our teachers. A 'fun but focussed' week is exactly what we we're aiming for!
John found Dragons Teaching:
  • Significantly reduces teacher workload
The online course we have done this week (1 hour each day) only needs our teachers present to supervise boys - no preparation or marking!
  • Slightly provides school data
This is an end of year course for our leavers, so the data would not be stored on our system.

The provision for younger pupils has been problematic. The My Week in China programme was excellent.
